Prayer Meeting – August 17

Good morning Salem!

As I was reading some headlines this morning the Lord put it on my heart to call for a prayer meeting this evening.

7:30pm at Salem

As I read today’s headlines, the Holy Spirit revealed to me that we need to pray for the world as a church. Every headline I read has a literal reason to pray but it also points to other, more local realities as well as purely spiritual ones.

This is not political or divisive or anything even close to that; this is the church, a gathered body of folks who need to be saved, praying for fellow humans in tough situations and reading behind the headlines and seeing areas of spiritual warfare in the heavenly places that relate to all of us.

I would love to see as many people as are able in the church with me tonight. If you are unable to come please join us online.

Salem this doesn’t need to be over the top, or underwhelming. Let’s just come and pray for an hour. “If two or more are gathered….!”

Love you and see you tonight!
