Homesick | Finding Our Home in Jesus

What does it mean to be homesick when the home we long for isn’t somewhere we need to travel, but someone we need to know?

In this message, Pastor Bill explores what it means to long for Jesus as our true home. Through the stories of Moses, the Thessalonian church, and Jesus’ encounter with the Pharisees, we’re challenged to examine whether we’ve become too settled in who we are, what we value, and how we live.

God never intended for us to become fixed in our ways, defined by our past, or shaped by the world around us. Instead, we’re invited to remain like living seeds—open to growth, transformation, and the work of the Holy Spirit. The cross calls us to reset our priorities, allow God to develop us through hardship, and place every part of our lives on the altar.

The question is: Are we willing to let God reshape us?

Join us as we discover what it means to be truly homesick for Jesus, to seek His presence above everything else, and to live with hearts that are always open to His will.

“Jesus is my home.”
