Women’s Christmas Gala 2024 – The Windover…To Christ our Lord

This is a limited edition giclee print matted and framed by the one and only Michael Mandia based on the poem by 19th century poet Gerard Manley Hopkins. As the poet Hopkins watched a hawk hover on wind and swoop down to the earth, it reminded him of Christ coming down to earth from His home in Glory. This is Michael’s interpretation of that poem using a Red-tailed Hawk.
