Salem Tabernacle is called to be an expression of “life as God meant it to be” right here in the Hudson Valley. Our faithfulness to this calling is measured not only by the quality of life we experience, but the quality of life we provide! The Hope Initiative is our opportunity to bring the abundant life of God’s Kingdom to those who are hurting and in need. Our prayer is that as we take the initiative to reach out to our community and meet their tangible needs, we will meet a deeper need in the process: the need for hope!

Our first phase of outreach ministry involved serving with the Legacy Center and the Dream Center in NYC. Participating in the incredible Kingdom work being done by Jordan Durso and The Legacy Center and the Dream Center we gained an ideas and received a burden – a passion! – for loving our neighbors like Jesus did.  Our second phase of ministry is in full swing. Locally we are adopting-a-block. Watch the calendar for events, and opportunities.
